Some of my online visitors want to know more about the guy behind Todd Hower Realty. And since you’re on this page, you’re probably looking for a little info about me, so here goes:
My wife and I moved to Austin, Texas from Summit County, Colorado. I moved to Colorado from Wisconsin in 1993. My wife, Stacy, moved to Colorado from Houston, Texas in 1998. We met at Copper Mountain where I operated a property management company for over 100 ski-in/ski-out condos. I also operated a General Contracting business specializing in the renovation of condos that were built in the 70′s…think orange shag carpeting and avocado green appliances. I enjoyed skiing, mountain biking, fly fishing, kayaking, and golf in my spare time…which I had a lot of before our little girl was born in 2004 in Vail, Colorado.
Needless to say, our mountain lifestyle changed quickly and we started to look at other cities to start raising a family. Within a few months, our mountain home was for sale and the moving truck was on the way to Austin, Texas. By the way, if you would have told me in 2003 that I would be living in Austin, I would have said you’re crazy!
We decided on Steiner Ranch because of the spectacular hill country views, access to Lake Austin and Lake Travis, hiking and biking trails, exemplary schools, shopping, and an easy drive to downtown (outside of rush hour traffic). After living in the mountains of Colorado for 12 years, I guess it’s fair to say that I enjoy the outdoors. We built our home here in 2005 and love living here so much, we decided to move within the neighborhood and build another home in 2011. We currently reside in Emerald Ridge with our two children who attend River Ridge Elementary.
I built and edit this website so you can enjoy looking at Steiner Ranch homes and keep on top of the current market conditions and developments. I enjoy using cutting edge real estate technology to provide you with solutions and in-depth analysis on buying or selling a home in Steiner Ranch. You can find out more about that by contacting me here.
